Thursday AM, the wind is around the northeast but not blowing hard
yet. No special tides. It is a rather gray and foreboding day
though.
Eastport YC
Don't think its been that empty in front of the club since it was built.
Striking the burgee just to be safe.
Looking along the bulkhead, currently still dry.
Road Trip is nestled in comfortably, not much more we can do
there.
SSA still has her colors flying.
Looking down EYC's parking lot towards the hoist. Hopefully I can
take several shots from this angle as the tide rise.
Annapolis YC
Front the center of the Spa Creek drawbridge, looking over
at the main club house of Annapolis Yacht Club. Pretty peaceful so
far.
The "Annex" at AYC, with Quick Step in her usual slip
Looking up Spa Creek on the Annapolis side
A classic early flooding spot. The foot of Fifth street at the
corner of AYC's Sailing Center.
The AYC Sailing Center from the center of the bridge.
All boats have their rigs down and are tied to their trailers. S&M
normally lives just off to the right. But she's been moved to back
of the yard snuggled in next to MacDuff.
Main Street and City Dock area
Statue of Alex Haley at the head of Ego Alley. He will probably
get quite wet.
Alex's view of ego alley
Looking down Main Street and Ego Alley from outside Ben and Jerry's
Looking up at the State Capitol. Like EYC, no
flags flying today!
Flamingo at the tip of city dock where the Harbor Queen, does that sound
like something we've heard Debbie say before???
Looking across at the City Dock shops
Looking up Ego Alley to Fawcett. Another classic
early flooding spot
Notice, NO BOATS on moorings in the harbor at all.
That's pretty unusual for mid-September!
